This young athlete boasts considerable social media following
Kai Trump will have multiple high-profile supporters when she begins her professional golf debut this Thursday.
The 18-year-old athlete, who is connected to Donald Trump, obtained a tournament invitation to compete at the Annika competition in the Sunshine State.
Her grandfather, a passionate golfer, possesses multiple international courses and frequently plays against Kai.
"He's fairly competent. I can't say much but we have competitive games," she revealed.
Kai explained that her grandfather, who cannot attend, advised her: "Just don't get nervous."
"He practically advised me to go out there and have fun," she continued.
"From my perspective, he's simply a regular grandfather. He can't make it this weekend. He's busy with presidential duties, making him rather occupied."
Being non-professional, the golfer has competed in a mere three competitions this year and maintains ranking 461 in AJGA rankings.
Yet she can seek guidance from Tiger Woods, romantically involved with Vanessa.
"He represents the greatest golfer worldwide," the young golfer said.
"Furthermore, he's an even better individual. He suggested me to play, relax, and go with whatever happens."
The golfer will compete against some of the biggest names in professional golf at the Annika, such as second-ranked the champion, British golfer Hull, Lexi Thompson and 2023 champion champion Vu.
Tournament organizers commented that her participation brings golf to new audiences, particularly among youth audiences.
The young star has substantial online presence and recently launched a personal clothing and lifestyle brand.
The competition starts at 5:30 PM GMT.
