The children's author David Walliams lost his contract with book publisher.
Best-selling writer for children and entertainer David Walliams is no longer with his publisher HarperCollins UK, as confirmed by the firm.
A representative for the company commented: "Following a thorough review, and under the leadership of its fresh leadership, HarperCollins UK has decided not to publish future works by David Walliams."
Media sources suggest that the conclusion was taken subsequent to an inquiry regarding claims about conduct deemed unsuitable involving young women.
The company did not confirm the motivations for this action, noting: "It is not our policy to discuss internal matters."
